Notes From President, Tom Holm

We have, I believe, had a very successful year in 2004 and on behalf of myself and the rest of the Board members I extend my gratitude for all of your support of the chapter and its projects.  I especially would like to thank all of the volunteers who gave of their time and effort to make the many projects of the chapter a success.  Also I want to give a special thanks to the volunteers that in the work kitchen and behind the bar on Tuesday nights and hope all of you will thank them as well.  The success of the chapter depends on the involvement of its members and I hope even more will join in to help wherever, they can, in the upcoming year.

I hope your holidays were safe and happy and I look forward to serving you in 2005.

Let’s give a special thanks to Jim Durbala, Sonny Satre, Vivian Vogel, Jay & Anita Samuelson and Roger Lively for donating their time to decorate the chapter house, giving it a festive atmosphere.

Also lodging is available in Creston, twelve miles from the lake.

Mike Patterson from Sportsman’s Warehouse will be providing the prizes for the largest fish and the person weighing in the most fish on Saturday only.

We have finally received some of the 2005 membership cards from the National Office. If you have paid your 2005 dues, check at the table inside the front door on Tuesday nights to see if we have yours.

For every 38 people that pick this card up on Tuesday nights we save postage equivalent to Chapter dues of one member.
