Congratulations
to Bob Dowson who proudly displays the coveted “WHO Radio
Sportsman of the Year Award”
Bob was presented this much deserved award by Keith Kirkpatrick,
a WHO Radio personality and a DM Ikes member, at the club house
on January 15, 2008. This was also Farmer’s night. What a
fitting time to receive such an award.
You can’t have been a member for very long or a participant in
many of the chapter’s projects without knowing who Bob Dowson
is. Bob seems to step forward and volunteer for almost any
project sponsored by the chapter, from teaching Angling
techniques to children at the Youth Fishing Clinic to using his
boat at the “Special Person Fish Day” at Big Creek.

Although all available cabins have been rented, it still may not
be too late. If interested in going, you may contact one of the
following that rented the cabins; Rod Kent, Bill Connelly,
Dennis Orfield, Dan Herum, Joe Gavin, Rich Galloway and Ray

Note: We are in need of door prizes for the weekly drawing. See
Steve Roe, Program Chairman if you can donate an item.
Make sure you sign your dinner ticket to be eligible to
