Volunteers Needed for Yeader Creek Project Volunteers are needed to help clear trees and brush around Yeader Creek on April 3rd.  Come to SE 14th and McKinley, North of Home Depot at 9:00 a.m. April 3rd.   Thanks! To Tony Webb of Capital Sanitary Supply for the September 4, 1947 newspaper.  The newspaper will be put in the Historian File at the Chapter House.   From President Jay Samuelson In recent years the National Izaak Walton League Endowment has directed most of its resources to Division and Chapter Projects and intend to continue this program in the future.   However, in order to increase these grants they are in need of more capital.  They have asked all Chapter Presidents to solicit their members for a $5. $10 or $20 donation to the IWLA Endowment and that is what I’m doing in this message.  It would be appreciated if you could send a small check, payable to IWLA Endowment, to Shirley Freeman, Executive Secretary – IWLA Endowment – 2416 4th Street SW – Waverly, IA 50677-4383.  I believe it will bring good returns in the future.   Please help out with your donation if you can.   Thanks!
