Helping!
Rod Kent, Show Coordinator, extends his thanks to the following
volunteers for helping man the Izaak Walton League booth at the
Des Moines Sports Show: Mike Lucas, Ron Smith, Jim Durbala,
Sonny Satre, Jack Harris, Earl Kaminski, Keith Gaar, Denny
Reynolds, Don Richman, Scott McClelland, Chuck Davis, Herb
Pierce, Bill Gay, Roger Schoonover, Neal Tribby, Sonny Dowell,
Bill O’Hara, Fred Noon, Senator Dick Dearden, Tara Dobson, Lee
Tidrick, and Larry Breeding.
An additional thanks to Don Richman for helping to set up the
booth and, Lee Tidrick and Larry Breeding for helping take it
down.
Also to Bob Dowson, Dan Hertum and Rod Kent for assisting Dan
Young “Outdoors Dan” put on a superb youth bow hunting clinic.
Each child got to shoot an arrow and received a prize. Because
Dan does this clinic we get one of our two spaces free.

E-Mail Address

A couple of years ago we started a project to collect E-Mail
addresses with the intention of using them as an alternative to
mailing newsletters and to send out information on projects,
illnesses or member deaths.
Rod Kent and I would like to resurrect this project. If you
would like to participate and receive information via E-Mail
please send your E-Mail Address to Rod Kent at rkvvkent@aol.com
and copy me (Roger Lively) at pattyral@msn.com. (Rods address
has two V’s not a W.) When you send your address please state
whether or not you have Microsoft word 2000 or higher. This is
critical if you are to receive newsletters.
