Hillbilly Auction April 11
Don’t forget the Hillbilly Auction April 11. Come on in for a
delicious steak dinner and stay for the auction. Bring your
items to be sold after 3 pm April 11. The little Ikes are
counting on another great success.
Thanks for the Hides
A big thank you from the hospitalized veterans to all those that
donated hides to be used in making leather goods. Over 300 hides
were donated for this worthy cause.

State
Convention at DM Chapter
Our Chapter will host the State Convention for the first time in
10 plus years. We’ll have a big job to equal the outstanding
jobs Davenport and other chapters have done the last several
years.
We’re going to need a lot of help from our members, Board
members and the Ding Darling ladies to be successful.
We also need items for the Friday night auction held after the
early bird party. Keith Kirkpatrick donated several nice prints
to give us a great start.
We also need advertising for the program, (full page $100, ½
page $50, ¼ page $25) Please help out, if you can.
Attend the auction and dinner on Friday, April 28 and/or the
business meeting on Saturday, April 29 and see how the State
Ikes operate. There are no registration fees unless you want to
enjoy the great meals. Let’s uphold our great reputation and put
on the best ever State meeting and have a large turnout.
See Fred Baumann, Tom Holm or any Board member if you can help
out or want to buy advertising. (PS: There will be a hospitality
room at the Sheraton Four Point motel at 1810 Army post Rd.)
Trap Shoot, April 29 at Ankeny Chapter grounds. We need
shooters, (bodies not pros) to field at least a team or two. As
the largest chapter In the State and one of the largest in the
nation we should field at least a team or two. The chapter will
pay the entry fee. See Tom Holm or sign up in the office.
