Big Thank You
from the Club
We need to extend our thanks to Dave Waters for spraying the
thistles out back and to Steve Hansen of Chem-Trol Inc. for
donating the herbicide used.
Also thanks to Dan Havens for the spices he donated.
Special Person Fish Day a Big Success
The “Special person fishing day”, June 9 at Big Creek, was a big
hit for over 80 attendees. The success was made possible by the
following volunteers:
Keith Kirkpatrick, John Rumer, George Pike, Del Lohr, Wimpy
Stifel, Scott & Denise Charter, Fred Noon, Mike Roland, Floyd
Hertsgaard, Ed Mohler, Larry Simpson, David McCartney, Jack
Harris, Ralph Johnson, Vivian Vogel, and Mike Lucas. Volunteers
providing boats were Jim Durbala, Bob Dowson, George Pierce,
Jerry Starrett (Sonny Satre’s boat), Rod Kent, Dennis Orfield,
Don Schomer and the Big Creek Marina for the Pontoon Boat. |

Sweet Corn Feed July 27
The annual corn feed is July 27 from 4 pm to 8 pm., rain or
shine. Everyone is invited and welcome!
Volunteers are needed for shucking corn, serving, kitchen help
etc. Contact Larry Clark if you can help.
