Annual Meeting
Summary
President Fred Baumann called the meeting to order at 5:30 PM,
July 25, 2006. After receiving unanimous approval of last year’s
minutes he introduced Treasurer, Craig Rogers, to give the
Treasurer’s report. Craig reported we had a pretty good year
showing a profit of $8,000 net of overhead, noting that
utilities increased 23% and repair expenses increased $8,000. We
ended the year with total equity of $830,000 with investments
totaling $136,000.
Nominating Committee Chairman, Roger Schoonover was then
introduced and he presented the nominees for the 2006/2007 Board
of Directors, which were unanimously approved by the members in
attendance. The new Board will be Fred Baumann, Jim Frangos,
Mike Lucas, Donald Frus, Sonny Satre, Fred Kokke Jr., Joe Gavin,
Fred Noon, Craig Rogers, Mike Roland, John Dowell, Howard
(Wimpy) Stifel, Jim Durabala, Vivian Vogel and Stephen D. Roe.
All except Stephen D. Roe are returning Board members. Stephen
replaces retiring past President, Tom Holm.
Let’s give thanks to all the 2005/2006 Board members for a job
well done and wish the new board success.
Officers will be elected, by the Board, at the August 28
meeting.Door Prizes

Save Our
Streams (SOS) News
Anita Dittmer-Purcell was named the new Chairman and Jim Kilts
Vice Chairman. Jeff Primmer will continue to handle the DNR
reports and other technical responsibilities.
Our next monitoring is September 24th, but if you would like to
learn more about being an active Ike working to protect our
water resources come join us at our next regular meeting on
September 12. Regular meetings are at the Chapter House from 6
PM to 7 PM. If you join SOS on or before September 12, your
dinner will be on me. Jack Soulis, past Chairman.

Larry would like to formally thank all the volunteers that
worked hard to make the annual Corn Feed a great success.
Swap Meet Coming to our Chapter House
Mark your calendars for the first Izaak Walton League Fishing &
Hunting Swap Meet at our Chapter House. The dates are set for
January 27, 2007 from 9 AM to 5 PM and January 28, 2007 from 9
AM to 3 PM.
The Board has appointed a committee to work on the details so
look for more information on this exciting event in future
newsletters.
