Ice Fishing
Outing Set for Clear Lake
The ice fishing date has been set for Dec. 15 & 16 at the
Heartland Inn at Clear Lake.
The hotel is about 20 feet off the shore of Clear Lake. All
rooms face the lake and most have two queen beds. The rate is
$76.99 including taxes. Some of the amenities are extended
breakfast from 6 to 10 Am featuring hard boiled eggs, sausage
gravy and biscuits, Belgian waffles and other items, and every
evening they have fresh baked cookies plus another snack.
They have set aside 8 rooms for us and six are left. You need to
call 1-800-344-3277 prompt #1 for reservations and prompt #26
for location. If we fill the eight rooms they will comp a
meeting room with refrigerator, stove and microwave where you
can play cards or socialize in the evenings.

Hillbilly
Auction October 31
Don’t forget to be here for the Hillbilly auction, Tuesday Oct.
31 and be sure to bring in your items to be auctioned after 12
noon on Tuesday. These auctions are the primary funding source
for our Uncle Ikes program.
Ike’s Swap
Meet to be a Family Affair
The first annual DM Ike’s hunting & fishing swap meet, January
27 & 28, is going to be an event for the whole family.
In addition to the normal activities of a swap meet there will
be drawing for prizes, raffle for a shot gun, DNR hunting
classes, laser gun tournament, BB gun tournament, food and
drink, and fishing and hunting licenses will be available for
sale.
Members need to get their tables early and take advantage of the
special members rate of $25. Non-members fee is $30.
