Attention Deer
Hunters
It’s that time of year again and the veterans need your deer
hides.
The Elks Lodge #98 is collecting them for our veterans to use in
making leather goods.
You can drop them off at 5420 NE 12th Ave, Pleasant Hill Or,
call 265-6681 and they will pick them up.
Membership Renewals Now Available
You may pay your 2007 dues at the door on Tuesday nights. Last
year members paying at the door and picking up their membership
cards, when they came in, saved the chapter over $200 in
postage.
Those not paid at the door will be mailed out soon after the end
of November.
Also we have received membership cards for those that have paid
and life members which may be picked up at the door as well.Door Prizes
Note: We are in need of door prizes for the weekly drawing.
See Steve Roe, Program Chairman if you can donate an item.
Make sure you
sign your dinner ticket to be eligible to win. You
must be present to win. |

A Big Thank
You From the Little Ikes
The members of the Uncle Ikes program extend their thanks to all
that participated in the 10/31/06 Hillbilly Auction. Whether you
were one of the bidders and/or one of those that donated items
to be sold, your participation is appreciated.
A special thanks goes to Mike O’Day for being the successful
bidder for the memorial gun.
Ike’s Swap Meet, a Family Affair
The first annual DM Ike’s Hunting & Fishing Swap Meet on January
27 & 28, is going to be an event for the whole family.
In addition to the normal activities of a swap meet there will
be a drawing for prizes, raffle for a shot gun, DNR hunting
classes, laser gun tournament, BB gun tournament, food and drink
and fishing and hunting licenses will be available for sale.
Members need to get their tables early and take advantage of the
special members rate of $25. Non-members fee is $30. |
